Coach Fox has stated that if Jake Delhomme’s thumb is healthy in time for Sunday’s game for Pittsburgh that he will start the game. This is no surprise because Chris Weinke is not even an average NFL QB. If he starts on Sunday, the Panthers will likely be eliminated from the playoffs.
