3. (83) Charles Johnson, DE
Charles Johnson only was a 1-year starter at Georgia but that was enough to convince the Panthers that he was a big-time player. Johnson has nice speed as he runs a 4.75 40 and he’s big enough at 6’2″, 270 pounds to be an every down player as he can handle the defending the run. In 35 games at Georgia (13 starts), Johnson made 73 tackles, 29.5 tackles for a loss, had 14.5 sacks, batted down 12 passes, forced 5 fumbles and recovered 3 fumbles. Look for Johnson to rotate at the end position opposite of Julius Peppers.

The reason most people play golf is to wear clothes they would not be caught dead in otherwise.
