John Kasay is Mr. Consistent for the Carolina Panthers

Blogged under Positional Previews, Bloglockers, Front Page, General by admin on Friday 8 August 2008 at 11:54 am

38-year old John Kasay had been a very solid kicker for the Panthers in his NFL career.  He played in all 16 games for the Panthers last season and he made 24 of 28 field goals (85.7%).  He also connected on all 27 of his extra points last season.  Look for Kasay to be solid again in 2008 as he has shown no signs of slowing down.  Kasay has now played in 237 games in his NFL career and he has made 358 of 442 field goals (81%).  He has also made 430 of 440 extra points (97.7%) in his career.

I was pretty impressed by the Panthers play on Saturday against the Colts. I was hoping to see more of Delhomme, but it was nice to watch D. Williams bring it to the house for two scores. I really hope they get back to the 2003 form.

They just might Tim. I think the Panthers will take it slow with Delhomme until the season starts and then they will let him rip. I’m very impressed with Williams and I wouldn’t be surprised if he held off Jonthan Stewart for the starting job.

Yeah, I know. He looked really good against the Colts. I AM anxious to see how Stewart does, however.
