The over/under for Carolina Panthers wins in 2008 is 7.5

I have a feeling that Jake Delhomme and Julius Peppers are in for huge seasons.  With that in mind this number is way too low for the Panthers.  I see them possibly winning 10 or more games this season so I would make a huge bet on the over and hope that the key players on the team stay healthy all year long.

The over/under for Carolina Panthers wins is 9 for 2007

I think the bet here is the under.  I just don’t see how the Panthers will be better than 8-8 this season.  They need one of their running backs to step up and be the man if they are going to win more than 9 football games this season.  They do get 4 games against the Bucs and Falcons so that could help them out big-time if you bet the over.  Still, I see the 2007 version of the Panthers to be very similar to the 2006 version which puts me on the under with the Panthers.

Current Panthers odds

The over/under for the Panthers is 10 wins.  The Panthers are currently 8-1 to win the Super Bowl and 13-3 to win the NFC.

My suggestion here is to stay away from the win total, I project them to win 10 games.  I would be more interested in betting the Panthers to win the NFC.  I think you get a little better odds than if you pick them to win the Super Bowl, plus you have to win one less game to win your bet.

No need for luck on September 17th

The Panthers will not need luck when they stroll into the MetroDome on September 17th.  The Panthers have covered three straight games against the Vikings and they are quite simply……a much better team than the Vikings.  Immobile Brad Johnson will be seeing Julius Peppers in his sleep the night after this game.

Panthers big!
